Delhi Rape:Prime Minister’s Lame statement ,yet again

This statement was issued early Saturday by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. delhi-gang-rape-case-prime-minister-manmohan-singh-condoles-girls-deathThe lines in red are mine

“I am deeply saddened to learn that the unfortunate victim of the brutal assault that took place on December 16 in New Delhi has succumbed to the grievous injuries she suffered following that attack.

I join the nation in conveying to her family and friends my deepest condolences at this terrible loss. I want to tell them and the nation that while she may have lost her battle for life, it is up to us all to ensure that her death will not have been in vain.

Honorable  Prime Minister, why only her death? What about 500+ women raped in delhi each year?

We have already seen the emotions and energies this incident has generated. These are perfectly understandable reactions from a young India and an India that genuinely desires change. It would be a true homage to her memory if we are able to channelize these emotions and energies into a constructive course of action.

Oh really? Is that why peaceful protestors were lathi charged, subjected to water canons? . Is that the reason you shut down metro stations so that people cannot reach the protest grounds? Is that the reason ,not even a statement condemning the idiotic  comments made by politicians ,claiming that rape is invited ,comes from you?  Is that the reason sir?. Please enlighten us

The need of the hour is a dispassionate debate and inquiry into the critical changes that are required in societal attitudes. Government is examining, on priority basis, the penal provisions that exist for such crimes and measures to enhance the safety and security of women.

Since when? Since when have you been doing this Mr PM? Why did you need this incident to react? Why do you wait for the public to reach a tipping point before you react. Was Delhi being the RAPE CAPITAL not enough for you?Do you mean to say that you will lead your tenure reacting to public outcry only? Is that the call for action? Were you not aware already? Did we catch you by surprise?

I hope that the entire political class and civil society will set aside narrow sectional interests and agenda to help us all reach the end that we all desire – making India a demonstrably better and safer place for women to live in.

“Yes exactly, that is exactly the reason why  President’s(from your party) son called the protesters ‘dented painted women’ and even claimed that women who go to discotheques have no right to protest’. Why was that? Oh let me guess , to appease the sick mindset men? Maybe he wanted to be the hero of the backward chauvinistic male population? And yes, no action was taken against him, forget an action sir, why did you not come out and say “You make me sick Mr Mukherjee” and yes Why did Mr President not issue an apology?

I pray for the peace of the departed soul and hope that her family will have the strength to bear this grievous loss.”

Seriously? That’s all? Is that a copy of your every speech Mr PM? Where is the apology for failing to protect the women in THE CAPITAL of India? Where is the apology for treating protesters like terrorists?

My I remind  you sir that a few months back similar protests happened when a women was raped in Gurgaon. Where is the action for that Sir? Where is the apology for NOT DOING ANYTHING?Do you not think Delhi and Gurgaon are similar in that respect?

Where is the apology for empty words and broken promises?

Let me tender an apology to you sir. I am sorry that we, for a brief moment at some point in our past, believed in you . Yes we are sorry sir.

Mr PM, as absurd as it may sound, there are still people out there who believe in you. You are our Prime Minister, you are our representative, people need hope and courage from you and not dispassionate Lame statements.

We need passion sir because your Debates have failed. We wanted to see you taking a stand, tendering an apology on the behalf of government , kicking out the President’s son ,rapping the delhi police, firing the people who called for lathi charge, asking the delhi government the same questions we are asking and being as strong as you seemed while signing the nuclear deal.

But alas: You failed us, yet again. Please post this statement on your website and keep the “Incident” column empty. Whenever there is a crises we will fill it up and consider it as your official statement

Delhi Rape: What the government taught us- 5 lessons for budding politicians

Black dot for facebookThis lecture is for the budding politicians and maybe police officers on how to be an Indian Bureaucrat

Be Moronic:

Nothing is more important than this. When the heinous crime of rape caught the attention of people and they revolted , not against the government , not against the system but against this crime,  our very own politicians and people in power reacted in the most moronic and idiotic way possible.

Any logical and sane person would see that people were on the streets because they were disgusted, they were worried and yes they were scared for their safety. No they did not come out to kill someone , they came out to express their anger and maybe see who all cared and maybe see what can be done. No people may not understand the complexities of law  and the best way to solve this crime but that’s why they appointed a government.A “leader”( as the politicians claim themselves to be) should have joined them not run away, but in India it’s different.  So remember this “be a moron” and remember “people are your enemies”

Be scared of people you represent:

Yes ,remember people who elected you want to KILL you. They like lawlessness and they just want to see you die. So anytime more than 5 people want to meet you or meet anywhere in the country, make sure they are stomped out. Just see what Delhi government did  when people wanted to do peaceful  protests–They shut down the metro stations, they put everything on high alert and when nothing worked, lathis and water cannons were brought out on those same people who gave you the power to use them. Don’t you forget this, once elected you are the local goon and everything else is irrelevant

Honor is given based on political mileage:

Remember that constable who died on the line of duty, who died saving an imaginary threat to politicians, who died because police thought peaceful protesters were a bigger threats than rapists in the society and even the parliament and basically who died for no reason. The amount of respect that has to be doled out has to be proportional to the political mileage that you can extract out of his death. All respects to him but when was the last time a ceremony of a constable was telecast on all news channels and attended by almost all biggies ? Was it really to honor him or to dishonor his services?. So budding politicians remember this ” a death of a martyr who died on the line of duty has to be exploited for your political  gains”

Express grief:

Make sure you have a standard template of expressing grief,”we condemn the attack and something must be done and uniting the nation kind of thing” . The keyword here is express .Make sure you stop at that

Solutions? No way:

Come on, you propose solutions when you see a problem, as you must have guessed till now, it never is your problem. You are safe and sound behind the z level security provided to you by the money of hapless victims and those : in the words of “Abhijit Mukherjee(yes he is the President’s son): dented painted women”. So why should you care, you care only when you feel threatened for eg by peaceful protesters carrying candles not rods

In the end: Just remember, anything that happens to the hapless people who did the mistake of voting you to power is not your fault. Until you have bread on your imported Italian table and served on a gold plated plate you are good. You go on living your simple life , why should you care, it was not your daughter

Marry Early and Prevent Rape: Letter to A Visionary Chautala ji

Chautala Ji,

Recently you said you supported reducing marrigiable age to prevent Rapes and sadly the moronic Marry Early and prevent being rapedMedia and so called women empowerment people started bashing you.

I thought I clear the air by telling the world what you stand for, what High ideals your party probably holds so that those dumbos can get some sense

  1. Rapist check the marital status before raping: Haila, those people never knew that, see. Also they did not know that married men don’t rape…right?.There is no abuse or marital violence or rapes after someone is married in Haryana
  2. Prime role of women in society is to be Ghar ki Izzat: See those dumbos talk about equal rights and women empowerment. You should teach them that all women are “Ghar ki Izzat” and to top it , she is only concerned with the Izzat of the house she occupies  a father or a husband. As you said “Bachhiyan Ki shaadi…blah blah blah”  the prime job of a father is to marry her daughter so that she is someone else’s problem.  As you rightly pointed out that people want to put the problem of women on someone else. It’s like a game of Tag..The father simply wants to TAG the groom with the girl..right?.
  3. We are living in Mughal era: Oh they did not know that you see, as you rightly compared we are living in medieval times and medieval laws apply. The government is totally incapable of anything .BTW…who was running the government in Haryana a few years back?. OOPS it was you?and there were still rapes that time? How come? . I take my words back Chautala ji: Let me rephrase “ The government will Bring BACK the MUGHAl RAJ times”. Since there are no tyrannical rulers ,you will encourage people to become like them. This is the only way you can bring back the glorious days of Mughals that you so miss. May I say you should make this as your POLL promise and you might return to power again
  4. Since you saw it, it will be right: You mentioned you have seen very young girls get married. Since you saw it , It SHOULD BE RIGHT. I do not understand how anyone can debate that? Our ancestors did nothing wrong EVER you see.
  5. Choosing your life partner. What’s that?: Chautala ji you should tell people that we do things differently here. Choosing a life partner is not something young girls or even guys should be doing. It is like breeding your cow or a bitch. You decide who they mate with and when. Children are a property of the parents and they should decide what they do for the rest of their lives and in return these kids get a chance to gamble with lives of their children. Fun isn’t it sir?
  6. Its your responsibility: A chief minister ,a government , police are simply  ways of giving  people a false sense of order and maybe  ways of making some people more important than others. Law and order and crime prevention was and will always be responsibility of an individual. If you come to power again sir …well-being of people will never part of your JOB…right?

May I dare add Chautala ji  that you should let those people know that you do not believe that women should even work, come on  let the world know what a wonderful and pure thought process you have. I am sure you hold those morals high.

Also on these lines I want to propose some more changes

  1. 16 is not young enough: Chautala ji a research should be done to find out what is the least rape prone age. This is essential for preventing our “Bachhiyan” from the “Bhediayas”. You can ask all “Bhediyas” to do the research and come up with a good figure. I am sure you will find many in Haryana. I believe the right age would be 0 years. Before a girl is born you should be able to marry her off.I am sure evolution will take over and girls will be born with a MangalSutra and Sindur
  2. Make Sex detection of fetus legal: Since it is such a pain to raise women let people chose if they are up for it. In Rapes it is always the women and her family who suffers   because it becomes her problem. As you must believe I suppose, she is the culprit ..right? Why force people to raise BAD girls in Haryana. Also people are against female infanticide but I am sure Sir you would totally support that
  3. Bring Back the old times: Chautala Ji, I know you miss the old times, why not we bring back more such well thought out  practices such as “Sati” . Also let’s go even further back, Stone Age. If  a boy likes a girl ,he should be able to win her by killing all who vie for her. Fun it will be. Also may I dare add that our ancestors also believed in dowry, why not bring it back? Let’s call it Up Keep or Maintenance fees . And people can have a column in “Expected Dowry”. Let me not even start with the practice of honor killing which thankfully is being practiced religiously in Haryana, Thanks to some wonderful leaders we have had

That’s all Chautala ji. May I say that you should keep doing what you are doing, do what you believe in and let all the people shout. As a leader and Ex Chief minister of a STATE it is if YOU who knows what’s best for the people. Also do not worry about elections, all people who believe that the onus of preventing rapes lies not on the state but people themselves will vote for you

I hope this letter clears all doubts in the minds of your detractors

Hail Chautala

My Learning: A few months ago Gurgaon administration taught me that a women’s clothes are responsible for rapes…and the best way to solve it is to Ban women from venturing out. Today you taught me that the best way is to simply get them married as soon as possible and your problem is solved. I am learning a lot from you elders..Thank you for such wonderful teachings

And I thought—Better education, stricter punishments and more vigilance was the solution

~Update: Now congress spokesperson from Haryana Dharamveer Goyal has now made a statement, 90% of the rapes are consensual . I do not know if I should cry or laugh

Gurgaon: Preventing rape by banning women –Twitter responds

Recently Gurgaon , unofficial IT Hub and a hub for some of the biggest Malls in India , has been rocked by shocking incidences of rape of working women.

To combat this issue Gurgaon administration came out with a rule that Bans women from working in malls and pubs after 8:00 PM.This they said was for protection of women.Anyone willing to hire women after 8:00 needs to tell the admin in advance and seek their permission

This is a classic case of punishing the victim and not the accuser and as per me is extremely shameful act .But this post is not about my views but about how people reacted on twitter world.

Here are some of the best funny but satirical twitter posts on the topic that i collected over the past 24 hours:I hope the administration reads all
